Evaluate the benefits of consolidating the Air Force, Army and Navy Medical Services into one Joint Medical Deptartment.

Entirely too many decisions are delayed and too much money spent on the top-heavy beaurocracy built into the current Military Medical system. The Navy, Air Force, and Army maitain HUGE budgets to operate separate Medical Departments with HUGE areas of overlapping responsibility. Consolidating the leadership into one Joint Services Medical Department would reduce many top-level positions that only increase the beaurocratic process, slow down the decision making process, and hinder progress in terms of quality health care across the services. The consolidation of medical training was a good start, but is only a drop in the bucket compared to the healthcare administration cost occurring because of maintaining service specific Medical Departments.
