evaluate the DoD / PPV activities in privatizing military assets to determine if 1) it works, 2) who benefits and loses.

Created by M.G. on February 20, 2013

The DoD has embarked on a pseudoscientific project to privatize all military buildings, and to lease military lands with exclusive rights to sell to companies including foreign holding companies. This project is damaging to local communities in the stealth, lack of notice to the local communities in a timely manner, and refusal to pay ad valorem taxes on these new private revenue streams.

It appears that a new two tiered system of taxation is being pushed onto the citizens in the attempt by the DoD/PPV arrangements to avoid paying their fair shair of property taxes.

It is not right for our nations assets, held in trust by the DoD for prudent stewardship, to be privatized without proper notice to the population, and any failure to pay appropriate taxes for use of those assets.
