The Congress and Senate Are Paid For Life Once they hold office in one of these organizations. Do they deserve a pension? Do they deserve lifetime medical benefits? Do they deserve the payscale that they receive? If they fail to perform as required by the Constitution or if the country is in economic straits, Congress and Senate should take a pay cut and benefits cut. Should they be allowed to KEEP their BIG PACKAGES, When the Rest of America has to have their wages cut in order to keep a job. When Social Security or Medicare or Medicaid has to be cut, the Congress and Senate should have to take a pay cut and benefits package cut. When they are no longer in office, they should have to get Social Security if old enough. If not, they should have to get a job, like everyone else.
