From recent statements and actions by Trump, it is now evident that he cannot responsibly manage the US nuclear arsenal. The nation is safer without a nuclear arsenal than with Donald Trump commanding US nuclear assets.
As such, if Trump were to win the election on November 8th, the administration should declare an emergency and decommission all US nuclear assets by January 20th.
This should consist of destroying or rendering irrevocably inoperable every active and stockpiled US nuclear warhead, all weapons-grade fissile material, and all equipment and facilities capable of nuclear material production.
Alternately, if such arrangements can be made in time, transfer all US weapons and stockpiles to trusted allies, on agreement to not return them until after a Trump administration.
