For every major decision, cite the data behind each starting premise, and diagram out the logic leading to it.

Created by M.H. on November 12, 2012

We would like to know the thinking behind the policy positions, and other major decisions of the President, in the form of citations of evidence behind all premises, and a clear logic diagram demonstrating how those premises lead to your conclusion. Definitely not in a prose form, as that's just too susceptible to spin.

Press releases, speeches, etc., are insufficient to an unambiguous, decipherable understanding the true reasoning and data behind big decisions. If those decisions factor in unappetizing details of negotiations, it's OK, we get it, we're adults. Just put all that in the logic diagram as a factor of the decision along with everything else, that way we'll understand why.

The more important the decision, the more we'd like to see the thinking and research behind them.
