The laws of the country not only imprison one but take away their rite to vote thereby removing their ability to change the law. Currently anyone convicted of a felony cannot vote. -70%- of all US citizens imprisoned are nonviolent drug related crimes. Minorities are at least 3 times more likely to be convicted of a felony. I believe that in order to end the war on drugs today and end whichever war our children of the future fight. We must allow everyone to have the rite to vote.
