We live in an unprecedented time in human history where, for the past thirty or so years, technology has enabled us share and communicate at a speed never before even dreamed about. It's time we use our incredible technology for more than just cat videos and porn.
When our legislative branch was designed, representatives were used to carry public sentiment the government to ensure that our voices were heard and the majority ruled. Today, as proven by this website, our voices and opinions can be heard independent of time and space.
If the majority does indeed rule, why not use this technology to put everything to a popular vote? People within a community should be able to vote on local issues. People within a state should be able to vote on state issues, This deserves consideration.
