Examine the U.S. telecom industry and put a halt to the profiteering, deceptive accounting and diminishing regulation.

The Telecommunications infrastructure is vital to the U.S. economy and security. However, effective corporate lobbying and continued unexamined deceptive financials have resulted in a wide deregulation of the industry allowing companies to pursue only their profit interests; not the publics or the nations best interests. This needs to change. The Telecom giants want to pick and choose where and how they serve the public. Our Strategic National telecommunications agenda cannot be designed in the Corporate boardrooms, it must come from public policy and serve the people.
