Americas Special Operations Forces (SOF) often place themselves in harms way, and sacrifice their own well being, for the successful completion of a mission that is of the utmost importance to the greater good. The wear and tear that they place on their bodies is far greater than that of any conventional force. I believe that if an operator completes 10 years in the SOF community, of any armed force, they should be entitled to a pension, just as a 20 year veteran is entitled to. Often these men are dismissed, and overlooked because they did not complete a 20 year hitch, but their personal injuries are greater than that of someone who has completed 20 years of service as a cook, or quartermaster.
