We need dedicated, competent teachers. Teachers providing our youth with a well rounded and solid education is the cornerstone in building and keeping our country's freedom and strength. Let's encourage our teachers to pursue excellence in the method and practices of teaching, so they can be as effective as possible in their classroom with their diverse students. Teaching requires professional development throughout a person's career. Teachers are often sacrificing their finances to attend teacher development courses during their unpaid time off. Teacher salaries are not competitive in comparison to other professions that require comparable schooling. It's time to support our teachers. It's time to prepare for our country's future.
