We the people in order to create a more perfect union and allow for the representation of those who through no fault or action of their own have lost the belief that their voice is represented amongst the candadites of any government position.
In all positions were this option wins the popular vote the siting holder of the position will hold that position for one year. During which time new candidates will be selected and voted upon at the end of that one year term.
In the case of presidential election the sitting vice president will be swarn in as president for that one year. the electoral college will then elect a new vice president from amonst the presidential candidates for that one year term. Again after the one year another election will be held to elect a new President and V.P.
