This petition focuses on a method to break the deadlock in congress. By exercising your right to petition congress for a redress of grievances, you will be addressing the single most important issue holding up progress in the rebuilding of our economy. Congressmen have been refusing to cut spending & many others refuse to raise the debt ceiling. This causes stagflation because the stagnant economy makes us owe more interest and diminishes investor & consumer confidence. This petition allows for spending cuts by shutting down military bases in congressional districts where house members are holding our economy hostage, thus forcing these districts to pressure their representatives to act or accept the cuts in spending those very congressmen have been asking for.
