Executive Order approving the recognition of Three Day Weekends including Veterans Day from 2016 to 2019 for appreciatio

Since Veterans Day 2016-2019 will fall on or adjacent to the Federal Holiday, the nation should recognize three days of events of kindness and support to the needs of our Veterans and their families, by everyone hosting events that show genuine appreciation for the sacrifices of the entire family, especially the kids. They may not understand thank you, when they lost time with loved ones, and we will need them someday. Eisenhower changed Armistice Day into Veterans Day to use the holiday as a way to serve the needs of the returning veterans that has little support infrastructure. This set up wasted efforts with parades, time off and limited help for genuine needs currently. This needs to change this year. Parades need to be moved from the previous Saturday, 6 days before the holiday
