I believe a 90 day wait period does not infringe on the right to own fire arms but may have stopped several recent mass shooting including the tragedy in Orlando where the gun was purchased a week before the incident. Ninety days could give a person the time to think about what they are going to do. It might save a life. And all Americans should be willing to plan ahead for the purchase of a new firearm. Many have to plan to save the money. And what use other than mass shootings and war are ammunition magazines over 8 needed for? I would suggest that it would be effective immediately for the next 12 to 18 months with Congress able to extend it after conversations with constituents and statistics on the effects of the longer wait period.
