We, civil servants, have continued to work extremely hard to carry out the mission of our great Nation. Year after year, Federal employees are used as pawns citing possible furloughs and budget cuts. Our morale continues to fluctuate. We are tasked with doing more with less. Yet, we get our assigned jobs done well, most times, and expeditiously on behalf of America. Our pay is not comparable with private industry. However, we want to give back to our Country is a meaningful way to ensure lives and investments are safeguarded, and the environment is protected. Therefore, we humbly petition for 8 hours of administrative leave through Executive Order, on Friday, December 23, 2016.
