The government is preparing to furlough its employees 1 day a week for 22 weeks because Congress/Senate can't do their job they were elected to perform. They keep passing Continued Resolutions that had us go over the fiscal cliff, to have another Continued Resolution. The budget keeps getting pushed back for the next politicians to deal with, and it needs to stop. An Executive Order needs to be enacted that would suspend the pay and benefits of all members/staff of the House and the Senate, to force them to approve a budget. Sequester them if necessary.
The politicians should take a 20% pay cut before all government employees are expected to be furloughed 20% of their normal pay. Can the country really handle a 20% reduction in all services?
