Exempt all active duty military personnel that can rightfully own a firearm from the requirement to posses a permit

This petition would exempt all active duty military personnel that can rightfully own and carry a firearm from the requirement to posses a firearm permit while serving on active duty in a state of non residency. As military personnel it can be very difficult obtain a firearms permit once you have completed a permanent change of duty station because you are not a resident of the state that you have been assigned to. This petition would relieve that stress as well as allow our service members to protect themselves against any threats. We know that our military service members are targets of terrorism from sources around the world internally and externally. With this amendment in place they will have the means to protect themselves, their families, and this country at all times while serving.
