If Civilian and Military Employees must be furloughed due to sequestration cuts, then all Elected Officials of the United States Government should be required to furlough.
Does Congress not realize that Civilian and Military Employees are the individuals that keep the U.S .Government functioning?
Currently it appears that the Employees will be required to lose between 88 and 176 hours of salary if the furlough starts and continues until 9-30-2013.
If Congress cannot reach an acceptable remedy for the issues that have incited sequestration, it appears they are part of the cause and should bear the same consequences.
Congress needs to be aware that their inability to create a workable solution is causing undue hardship on the People who elected them to Office.
