Exempt all employers with a religious objection to contraception from the HHS contraceptive mandate.

The Religious Freedom Restoration Act requires that the government not infringe on religious freedoms unless it is the least restrictive means of furthering a compelling governmental interest.
The HHS contraceptive mandate, which forces all employers to provide contraception in healthcare coverage regardless of their religious beliefs, is not the least restrictive means of ensuring access to contraception. Most forms of contraception are inexpensive and readily available, many employers already provide contraception in their healthcare coverage, and the government can directly provide free access to contraception without involving religious employers at all.
We ask that the government respect federal law and exempt employers with a religious exemption to contraception from the mandate.
