The government should exempt all government guaranteed mortgage loans from the interest on said mortgages and allow people burdened with these mortgage loans to pay off only the principle amounts. This would drastically reduce their payments and allow homeowners to avoid foreclosure in many cases. The government would be stuck with these loans if the banks foreclose on them anyway in most cases where Fannie and Freddy the guarantee said mortgages. It would greatly ease and help the housing problems,
