Exercise Maximum Restraint to Avoid Escalation of the Conflict in the Ukraine.

The United States should maintain normal diplomatic relations with Russia, with whom we are engaged across a variety of important issues. The Russian government has cooperated in the successful nuclear talks with Iran, and in the destruction of chemical weapons in Syria. It is prudent that the United States avoid escalation in the region, and commit to negotiating a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
