The President’s has the power to regulate the right to bear arms because Amendment II of the US Constitution states, “a well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state…” and Article II, Section II of the US Constitution states, “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United Sates, and of the Militia of the several states…,”
