Secession is a serious thing. Any person willing to send his entire state ( selfishly just because obama won ) into apocalyptic poverty, turmoil, war and unrest, should be sent elsewhere. Not to mention the long list of downfalls that follow a newly seceded country in the rubble that lost ALL U.S. support. Even if they secede, they'd have to create their own currency - and they'd have to do it fast since prices will go sky high for U.S. goods. People should be aware that "states" are not asking for secession, it is just certain individuals within each state that is causing unnecessary excitement - and those individuals need to get their wishes granted in a way that leaves others out of it. Hence, Get out or shut up. You didn't want secession when you had 8 years of Bush did you?
