Exit negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, disclose the entirety of its contents, and vow never to make it law

Created by F.R. on November 13, 2013

The Obama administration is currently deliberating on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), a trade agreement so sensitive that the President is unwilling to let the members of Congress know exactly what's in it. The 29 chapter-long document will set up highly strict Internet copyright rules, ban "Buy American" laws, force more of America's domestic manufacturing base overseas, and give Wall Street freer reign to gamble with the U.S. economy. Obama also plans to attain "trade promotion authority," which gives him the power to "fast track" the treaty by signing it before Congress even votes on it and giving Congress only a short amount of time to vote afterwards, while also forbidding Congress from amending it. The unconstitutional TPP must be stopped in the name of American sovereignty.
