On a recent broadcast of "Meet the Press", David Gregory displayed a high-capacity ammunition clip. While being in possession of such a clip is against the law where the show is taped, he was making an important point. He in no way violated the spirit of the law. People need to understand that the only function of such high-capacity clip is to kill as many people as possible in a short amount of time. He brought that point home in a concrete way.
