Exonerate the West Memphis Three

Created by Z.S. on December 18, 2016

In 1993 three 8 year old boys were murdered in West Memphis, Arkansas. Despite no evidence of cult activity the authorities determined the murders could only be the result of it and swiftly arrested Damien Echols (18), Jason Baldwin (16) and Jessie Misskelley (17) simply because they were local outsiders. All three teenagers were convicted to serve life except for Echols who was sentenced to death. After years of both public and celebrity support the WM3 managed to fund many tests and investigations - crucially not a single piece of evidence from the crime scene matched the DNA of the men in prison. Although the WM3 agreed to an Alford Plea deal and were released in 2011 they are still not free men. I am calling for you to exonerate the WM3 and re-open the case to find the real killer/s.
