GI Bill benefits for Veterans are limited to match time spent in service. For men and women who have sacrificed for their country, opportunity for higher education should be fully attainable.
As more service members are faced with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other issues, earning a higher education may be met with obstacles and seeking a degree may take longer.
We, hereby, request that the current GI Bill policy be expanded to allow four full years of educational benefit regardless of time in service, or end upon the earning of a four-year degree or equivalent, whichever value is greater.
