Expand access to Mental Health services to address growing violent episodes across the US

Created by K.S. on April 17, 2014

Mass executions & injuries across our country are becoming routine, at our schools, military bases and public celebrations.
Prior to this violence, many people have recognized that the perpetrators have been in need of mental help, yet didn’t receive it.

Access to Mental Health services in the US is highly limited due to completely absent or inadequate (ie. No more than 3 visits per year) coverage, common to most healthcare plans for decades.
Even if the individual or others/family recognize the need for mental help, this restricted access to services increases costs and likely means that no help is available.

Vote to expand Mental Health coverage to help stop the violence before it starts and improve the quality life of the countless Mentally Ill individuals in the US.
