Expand the amount of ships in the U.S. Navy

Created by R.H. on April 15, 2013

The US Navy is the powerhouse of the armed forces, destroyers and submarines have unreasonable amounts of firepower, and Aircraft carriers have an ability to bring the fight to the enemy before the enemy knows what is happening, creating a larger Navy would make the US an even stronger offensive and defensive power should we have conflict with another country that has a capable military. Throughout history the importance of a capable Navy has been shown in infantry battles and in assaults such as Operation Overlord, the battle of Iwo Jima, and the Battle of Okinawa. Consider the country's safety and the safety of our troops.
