First of all, many thanks for your recent decision to make it illegal for people to protest military funerals within 300 feet. It is an outrage that people have been using military funerals to spread hate, and it is time to take this a step further.
Over the past few weeks, there have been photographs circulating on the internet of young children (as young as 2 and 3) wearing clothing and face painting that display hateful messages toward the LGBT community. Needless to say, these photos are quite disturbing. No child is born with hate in his or her heart; these photos are clearly their parents' doing.
And it is wrong. It's wrong for any parent to turn a child into an unknowing instrument of hate speech, and it should be illegal as well.
