Expand the COPS Secure Our Schools (SOS) grant program to cover and protect all K-12 public schools in the United States. Current funding does not allow for a public safety officer in every school. A $.01 excise tax on each box of ammunition sold in this country would easily cover the cost of expanding this program to protect our children.
