The current do not call and robo-call prevention laws allow for special groups (non-profits, political candidates and groups, and research groups) to be exempted. This has resulted in a dramatic increase of these undesirable calls year after year. The do not call and robo-call laws should be expanded to include these special groups and remove all exemptions as they have demonstrably abused the privilege they were extended.
