According to Cancer.org, and what may be common-sense, is the fact that cancer weakens your immune system. Carcinogens which cause cancer, attack your body's immune system, making you more susceptible to infections and disease. Your immune system plays a part on the immune systems of those around you in that bacterias can and will move from hose to host, becoming more and more drug-resistant, praying on the immune systems of others. The purpose of this petition is to ban smoking and the use of tobacco related products due to the part it plays on weakening the immune systems of not just its users but those around them, denying them of their Constitutional rights to Life, Liberty, and their Pursuit of Happiness. It infringes upon the rights of those to live healthy, happy lives.
