We believe that the Pittman-Robertson Act, which was established in 1937, has accomplished many great things for the United States. We want to propose an amendment to this Act to increase its funding. Our proposal is a very small tax of 0.5% on all commercial goods to go towards the efforts of the Pittman-Robertson Act. While the tax is modest, we believe that the amount of money raised will be greatly beneficial for our nation.
This will help the wildlife and environment of the United States, and it will also help restore species’ habitats.
Conservation efforts are very important, and the more we allocate to this Act, the better off our future will be.
