Expand the HARP II mortgage refinancing program to include loans closed before January 1st 2010 vice June 1st 2009.

Created by D.B. on November 16, 2012

The current HARP II program is AWESOME.

However, many homeowners missed the "prior to" June 1st 2009 dead line when they purchased or refinanced their home. With the Federal Reserve committed to investing $40,000,000,000 into the mortgage market monthly as long as unemployment is high it makes sense to expanding the HARP II program.

Expansion of HARP II will capture more homeowners in need or refinancing who just happen to miss the deadline by a few months.

Note - It would be even better to drop the date requirement altogether and allow any qualified homeowner to refinance under HARP II. :-)
