Expand laws to help prevent Sex Offenders from having unmonitored access to the internet.

Created by J.B. on March 06, 2015

In this age of advanced technology, it is incredibly easy for anyone to gain access to the internet. This can be done through several means such as Internet Service Providers, Smart Phones with Data Plans, Open Internet Access Points such as Libraries, and non-secured hot spots. With this in mind we are unable to protect our children, wives, and families from registered sex offenders. We feel there is more that can be done to protect our families. We feel Megan's law is a great start but we can do more. We believe that a law that would require a background check for sexual crimes prior to being able to acquire this type of service, would allow for restrictions to the types of sites such as social media apps and sites. Protecting our families from these predators is our #1 concern.
