The United States of America is lacking in Military possibilities. Aside from the fact that the world does not know a lot of what happens behind closed doors with our military, we need to find new ways to ensure that our safety is guaranteed.
The idea of the ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers) comes from the Video Game, and Comic, HALO. ODST units are considered elite, the best of the best. They're also found in space, aboard spaceships made for planetary assaults or launching ODST Pods.
Now, I obviously don't know how much it costs, compared to the $814 quadrillion Death Star, but we need to do this if we are gonna protect our future. If this is implemented into law, we could have the most advanced military on Earth.
