Dear President Obama,
I am petitioning in response to the recent revelations about the policies and practices of the NSA. I, for one, am not willing to trade my privacy for security. I feel that many Americas feel the same way and for good reason.
Having said that, I am sure that many people would be willing to surrender some of their privacy for a little less spam. Since the NSA and US government is willing read so many emails, it is not unreasonable to ask that they do some filtering, sorting and deleting.
Many times, we as citizens are asked to give for our government; we suffering constant cut backs in services and programs, alongside tax increases for the betterment of the nation. This is a clear opportunity for the government to give back to the people.
