Expand the number of members of the House of Representatives to 1000.

Created by M.Y. on September 21, 2015

Increase the number of members of the House of Representatives from 435 to 1000. We propose that each state receive 3 at large representatives and that there be one elected by single member district per 355,000 citizens of each state and that this number be subject to change each decennial census. Districts will be drawn be expanding squares beginning in the northwest corner in each state until the population requirement is met. No gerrymandering of districts will be allowed.
