Expand the right to vote to all American citizen adults.

Felony disenfranchisement is stopping people from voting. As of 2008 over 5.3 million people in the United States were denied the right to vote due to felony disenfranchisement. People who are felons are disproportionately people of color, there for Felony disenfranchisement laws are inherently racist. Their only reason for existing is to prevent minorities from voting. In order to become a felon, one only needs to be sentenced to prison for over a year, this encompasses such a wide arrange of crimes that to bar the right to vote to all is unreasonable. Further more, 3.5 million American Citizens live in Puerto Rico, none of whom have appropriate representation in congress. The same goes for the 600,000 American citizens that live in D.C.. Tax paying Citizens should have the right to vote.
