The time limit on gathering support for these online petitions is much to short to rally enough support for up to 100,000 people. The petition time limit should be expanded to six months to gather enough support. What is the off-chance that within several weeks 100,000 people will happen upon a single petition (out of many). Especially if that petition is not publicized and glorified by the media.
The voice of the people needs to be heard!
