Expand the Veterans' Preference program for Federal Jobs to include anyone that served between the years 1977 and 1990.

Created by R.R. on April 10, 2015

Military Veterans that served during the years 1977 - 1990 have been left out of a number of the Benefit programs that are available to members of the service who's tours fell outside that time frame . We were left off the G.I. bill and the only program for education available to us was a Matching dollar for dollar program. We don't qualify for Veterans' Preference for Federal Jobs. The service we performed for our country was no less Valid then the service of other military personal and yet we get none of the benefits. This not equal Treatment and needs to be corrected. Anyone who gave service to there country during that 14 years needs to be on equal Footing with every other Service member.
