The citizens of Assumption Parish, The State of Louisiana as well as citizens all across this Great United States of America respectfully request the assistance of the Federal Government in an effort to rectify the growing situation regarding a sinkhole in our Parish. This sinkhole is not only affecting the residents of Assumption Parish and the Bayou Corne geographical areas but has the potential to be a statewide as well as National environmental catastrophe.
