Expedite and Grant Refugee and Asylum Entry Visas to the Children and their Parents of the conflict in Syria

Created by K.L. on September 03, 2015

For months now, children and their families have been fleeing the civil war in Syria. It is only now that we are starting to see the images of children drowning on foreign shores because the global system of Refugee and Asylum entry is broken.
Many of those fleeing the strife and conflict have family in the US and other Western Countries and the entry to these sufferers is slow and inefficient. Oftentimes, this leads families into the choice between death at home, or take your chances on the open seas and hope that you reach shore again. For many, that hope is not happening.
As an "Exceptional" nation, as "a beacon on the hill", the US is failing these people. It is time to stand up and be counted as the Leaders of Compassion and Empathy and work with our partners to change the system.
