The Death Penalty remains controversial because of the inordinate time to get a conviction and go through the appeals process. We believe the Obama Administration should direct the Justice Department to expedite Death Penalty cases by giving death-row inmates the chance to be cast as villains in Quentin Tarantino, Batman and other such movies such that they may die very real deaths, but willingly do so in hopes of fame and excitement. We believe the benefits to such a program would be an overall decrease in the amount of appeals in death-penalty cases as well as a broader sense of acceptance on the part of death-row inmates. We urge the White House to consider this important and vital petition.
