The perm AKA Labor / Priority date for GC process usually use to have a 3 months (90) average wait period. Its a vital part for getting h1 extensions and for next phase of GC process. However since last year the average period grew significantly to a prolonged 245 days average (More than 8 months). Since there is hardly anything that a candidate on H1 can do about expediting or with no option to bump up the Priority, left only to your mercy.
