This is a petition to expedite decisions on social security disability application claims. It takes nearly 2 years for social security to approve a claim. This leaves the applicant without an income, health insurance, and peace of mind. When you are disabled you need to see a doctor, but when you have no income, it is nearly impossible to afford to see one, and one must suffer through the decision process. This is unnecessary, and is greatly contributing to poverty, and homelessness. Please help with this petition so that applicants can live, and have health insurance to receive care for their disability, and not suffer for two years waiting on the disability administration to process and approve a claim.
