There are thousands of US-Affiliated Iraqis (translators, engineers etc.) awaiting approval of their visa applications from the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project. The program expires in September and many applicants have been waiting as long as two years. This is an appalling way to treat loyal and courageous partners who now face a new threat from ISIS. Congress has specified that SIVs take no longer than nine months for decisions; when will the Administration act?
