Expel Russia from permanent members of UN Security Council.

Created by O.M. on July 22, 2014

Russia committed acts of aggression against Georgia and Ukraine and violated international law by annexation of Crimea. Russia sponsors terrorism in Europe with tanks, heavy artillery and surface-to-air missiles. Russia’s violation of the Budapest Memorandum undermines process of nuclear non-proliferation and global security.
Why Russia was given a status of permanent member of the UN Security Council? If due to its nuclear status than the same should be applied to India, Pakistan and North Korea. If due to its role in WW2 than the same should be applied Ukraine and Belarus.
Soviet Union was expelled from the League of Nations for its aggression against Finland in 1939. Russia should be at least denied the veto right in the UN Security Council.
