Expel the state of Texas from the union.

Many Texans have wanted to secede since the state joined the union, and in recent times calls for secession have increased. Texas takes large amount of federal monies, yet openly shows disdain for the laws and duly elected president of the union. They keep taxes low at the expense of education and let religious fundamentalists make decisions on textbooks which affects other states as well. Their religiously influenced abstinence only programs have their birth rate out of control. Texas is a huge polluter, and state policies are environmentally irresponsible. Now Texan law enforcement officers are threatening to arrest feds for enforcing federal law; enough is enough! The union would be a better place without them. It's time to grant them their wish of independence!
